Writing the West

groves_photo_smallA New Mexico native, Melody Groves writes about the West with real authority. A freelance writer, she is also a New Mexico Gunfighter who re-enacts Old West "shoot-outs" in Albuquerque's Old Town. She authors this blog on behalf of the Western Writers of America. The more than 500 members of the WWA write everything from mainstream fiction to local history. Groves handles communications for the group.
