His father's roots go deep into Texas and Oklahoma, while on his mother's side, the family history begins in post Civil War Louisiana. Currently he serves as publisher for La Frontera Publishing, a publisher of fiction and nonfiction books about the West, and as editor for OldWestNewWest.Com Travel & History Magazine, one of the nation's leading eZine's about the West. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California. His blog shares his views on America's West - today's new adventures set against the Old West history of America's frontier.
