Port of San Diego's Day at the Docks

A San Diego sportfishing tradition, the Port Of San Diego's Day At The Docks is the West Coast's largest public celebration of sportfishing. Signaling the official start of Southern California's spring saltwater fishing season, Day At The Docks takes place on Sunday, April 17 against the colorful and dynamic backdrop of world reknown sportfishing fleet on San Diego Bay.

Many of the sportfishing fleet's vessels will be open for inspection and others will offer introductory boat rides around the bay. A backdrop of more than 200 exhibits manned by experts in their respective fields will display Fishing Tackle, Marine Art, Clothing, Accessories and Marine Services. Raffles will be held to benefit The Burn Institute with thousands of dollars of fishing equipment, fishing trips and other valuable prizes donated by sponsors and exhibitors.
