Mendocino Coast Whale Festival / Fort Bragg

In 2012 the 30th annual Mendocino Coast Whale Festival offers three consecutive weekends of whale watching and other family fun, March 3-4, 10-11, and 17-18. Festival weekends take place in Mendocino, Little River and Fort Bragg.

At Fort Bragg, (March 17-18), microbrew tasting, whale watching and chowder tasting are among the featured attractions. Along with dozens of microbrews provided by the Fort Bragg Rotary Club (Saturday only), the area's top chefs will produce their favorite chowders (Saturday only). Live music, a marine mammal art exhibit and crafts fair are also part of the two-day festival.
