Old West re-enactment groups will perform at Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park's Annual Gathering of the Gunfighters on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Relive the legend of the West when Old West reenactment groups from California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and Arizona ride into Yuma Prison for a two-day skit competition event. When the gunsmoke clears, only one gang will be left standing as the best of the West. The event draws thousands from around the Southwest to experience the Old West lore in this historic territorial prison setting.
