Cheyenne Frontier Days Offering Variety of Value Deals for Visitors

Special Deals Include the New ‘Party Zone,’ Rodeo Packages, and Family, Military and Senior Discounts

Cheyenne Frontier Days 2009 Rodeo is one of the biggest annual celebrations in the West, and this year organizers are offering visitors a variety of event package deals, ranging from The Party Zone and Family Day at the Rodeo, to military and senior discounts.

New for this year is The Party Zone, where the ticket buyer actually gets to go to two concerts for the price of one Party Zone ticket.

For each ticket purchased in The Party Zone for Country Music stars George Strait, Taylor Swift, or Kenny Chesney, a customer will receive one free ticket to the Sawyer Brown concert or Rodney Atkins concert. The customer may choose show preference for the free ticket and will receive best ticket location available at time of request.

A change from previous years, the standing room area at the Cheyenne Frontier Days  concerts is being transformed into The Party Zone. For those seeking the fullest experience of the CFD concerts, The Party Zone is the place to be.

With a Party Zone ticket, visitors will be:

  • Closest to the stage and closest to the entertainers;
  • In the middle of all the action;
  • Part of the crowd that gets to interact with the artist;
  • Provided easy access to concessions including soft drinks, food, and beer (for those over 21);
  • Given early admittance into the concert, prior to all other seating groups;
  • Able to meet the deejays from your favorite local radio stations as they provide entertainment and giveaways leading up to the main concert event;
  • Automatically entered to win prizes including gift cards, food vouchers, CDs, T-shirts, tickets to concerts and rodeo events, chances to meet your favorite artists, and more.

Another visitor special is the Big Daddy Rodeo Package, Sunday, July 19 - Friday, July 24, for just $38. The buyer gets a great taste of Cheyenne Frontier Days. This package includes a best available B Stand rodeo ticket, an on-park meal, a Park-n- Ride pass, Old West Museum admission, and a CFD cap.

Then there's the CFD Value Package, Saturday, July 18 - Saturday, 25. This package includes best available rodeo and nightshow tickets, plus $1 off the souvenir program and $1 off the CFD Old West Museum admission. Prices vary by day from $33 - $83.

For those who enjoy carnival fun there's the Season Pass Carnival Armband at just $70. The armband gives the bearer unlimited access to carnival rides during Cheyenne Frontier Days. The offer is valid through July 16.

Another option is the CFD Value Package, Saturday, July 18 - Saturday, 25. This package includes best available rodeo and nightshow tickets, plus $1 off a souvenir program and $1 off CFD Old West Museum admission. Prices vary by day from $33 - $83.

The Family Days at the Rodeo package is a great offer for families. Kids get in free Sunday, July 19 - Friday, July 24. Buy an adult rodeo ticket at full price, and the accompanying C Stand kids tickets are free, or half price in B Stand. Up to five kids can get in free.

There is a military discount and senior discount of $3 per rodeo ticket. Persons taking advantage of the military offer must present military I.D., or proof of age 60 or over to receive discount.

Cheyenne Frontier Days is the oldest continuously running and largest outdoor rodeo and Western celebration in the world. Known as the "Daddy of ‘em All"to rodeo cowboys, Cheyenne Frontier Days takes place in Cheyenne, Wyoming every year during the last full week in July.
