Using the Internet shortens the time between data collection and analysis, and sharing information with scientists and the people who need this information in order to manage, educate, and learn about parks and park resources.

Virtual visitors can go to www.greateryellowstonescience.org to learn more about subjects like grizzly bears, thermal features, and historic structures at Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway, and Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area.
The Greater Yellowstone Science Learning Center is a portal to information about the natural and cultural resources of Yellowstone and Grand Teton (including John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway) national parks and Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area.
This virtual Science Learning Center is one of 21 similar centers at national parks around the nation which have been established to foster partnerships, share and store information, and encourage people to protect the parks.
The web site is a cooperative effort of the National Park Service, the Yellowstone Park Foundation, Montana State University's Big Sky Institute, and the Yellowstone Association. It is made possible by a grant from Canon, U.S.A.
